Spanish Hippie Teepee Albergue

Here is what I see from the window of my bunk room at the Albergue Amanecer (Daybreak Albergue)

Yes that's a teepee.  Here in Villarmentero de Campos. Looking in the other direction is a 16th century church.

I have to find out the story behind how the teepee got here

There is an EU flag with marijuana leaves in place of the usual stars in the dining room. I suppose the Bob Marley music that was playing on the patio was a good hint.

In the living area is the albergue there are books, games, juggling clubs and a guitar. 

I love love love these cross cultural surprises!

€6 bed and shower

€1 glass of wine (sometimes water costs more than wine )

Had a whole bunk room to myself  when I went to bed. Heard some noises in the middle of the night and the hospitalero was bringing in 2 ladies who had been in the bar that evening in to sleep. It was 2.:0 am she gave them bedding and  now they're asleep  in the next bunks.  There is usually some noise  or activity of some sort in the middle of the night- usually quiet.
