Day 15- May Day holiday -Castle, vineyard

It's May Day - a full holiday in Spain. Walked 23 km from Molinaseca to Cacabelos through he city of Ponferrada.

Visited a midieval castle in Ponferrada.

Very interesting and looked so much like the castles in Disney movies- but this is the real thing.

Got a bit lost leaving the city and walked on a busy street for 5 km or so.  Along he way found a celebration in honor of Saint Jose the Worker - perfect for May Day

Found my way back onto the Camino and  contained through grape vineyards.

We are in the Bierzo region now with lovely wines. 

Ate octopus for dinner with my friend Angela .
